Keven Kinaschuk

Keven Kinaschuk was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, spending his formative years eating homemade traditional Ukranian perogies and playing the drums in a garage band. As a young adult, he quickly realized the merits of hard work and good food so he headed to the University of North Dakota to study business and begin his career in the restaurant industry.

For 10 years Keven traveled the U.S. working as a General Manager for Chop House Breweries and as an Opening Manager for Rock Bottom Breweries. With 35 years in the restaurant industry, owning and operating a restaurant of his own felt like second nature to him. McKinners Pizza Bar is the result of Keven’s life-long dream. He understands what excellent dining entails and makes every detail of the experience count. Keven’s ambition is to have McKinners maintain impeccable service standards while embracing a funky charm, and striving to give customers more than just a meal out.

Passionate about giving back to the community, Keven serves as the Vice-President on the board of directors for the Colorado non-profit organization Break Bread, ran by the Littleton United Methodist Church. Being a member of Break Bread brings his two major values together: food and helping others.

Break Bread’s mission is to build community through the values of unconditional love, abundant grace, and hospitality to all with an expectation to be transformed. Break Bread embodies this mission by offering a free weekly meal to anyone and everyone who wishes to share in it. Dining together as neighbors becomes the starting point of forming a sense of community and relationships among those who participate as diners, volunteers, ambassadors, and donors, etc.

Keven is also active with the Littleton Business Chamber of Commerce and the Historic Downtown Littleton Merchants Association Bar and Restaurants.

Keven understands that commitment to excellence does not come easy and the course of business, just like life, is often confusing.  You adapt and adjust your course many times, especially during times like these.  Running a restaurant takes time, effort, experience and, most importantly, great people.

McKinners Pizza Bar in Littleton is an independent neighborhood eatery that delivers a contemporary, urban, downtown atmosphere to the home town feel of Historic Downtown Littleton.  The menu is eclectic, unique, and fresh.  The pizza is hand tossed and everything is made to order with care and love.  You can dine with us, call for take-out (303.798.8500) or order delivery on our website: There is free parking in our rear parking lot, and free street parking on weekends and after 5:00 pm on weekdays. For those who prefer the RTD, the Littleton Light Rail Station is one block away. We also offer outdoor seating in our newly renovated patio!

What are we doing?

Going out to dinner is supposed to be an opportunity to laugh with friends, enjoy a fantastic meal, and let the worries of the day fall to the wayside for a bit. While we love providing you with this experience, we also understand that precautions must be taken to keep you and our staff safe during this global pandemic. With that in mind, Mckinners Pizza Bar currently follows all rules and guidelines put forth by the Tri-County Health Department, the City and County of Denver, and the state of Colorado. Extra precautions have been put into place at our restaurant that include additional disinfectant and sanitation processes, social distancing through limited occupancy restrictions and a smaller staff size, a strict mask policy for all employees and guests that are not seated at their table, as well as offering takeout and delivery options for those who wish to enjoy our food in the safety of their own home. We appreciate all of you that have supported our business through these uncertain times and promise to continue to provide you with our services in the safest way possible!
